Returns & Refund Policy

We want you to love what you ordered. If something is not right, here is how we handle it.

Return window

We accept returns within 30 days of the date your order was delivered. Requests received after 30 days from the delivery date cannot be accepted.

Condition requirements

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused — not displayed, not hung, and not worn
  • Undamaged — in its original condition, with no scratches, chips, or alterations
  • In its original packaging (if possible — we understand packaging is sometimes opened carefully, and that is fine, but items must be protected for return transit)

We cannot accept returns on items that have been used, damaged after delivery, or altered in any way.

How to start a return

  1. Email contact@galeriedeclaire.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  2. We will reply within one business day with return instructions and the address to send the item to.
  3. Securely package the item and ship it back using a trackable shipping method. Please do not send items back without first contacting us — unannounced returns may be delayed or rejected.
  4. Once we receive and inspect the return, we will process your refund.

Return shipping costs

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We do not provide prepaid return labels except in cases where the item arrived damaged or we made an error with your order.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns. Galerie de Claire is not responsible for return parcels lost in transit.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 2–3 business days of arrival at our warehouse), we will notify you by email. If the return is approved:

  • Your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
  • Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer. This processing time is outside our control.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases where we made an error or the item arrived damaged.

Damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrived damaged or you received the wrong item, please email contact@galeriedeclaire.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the damaged item or the incorrect item received. In these cases we will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including return shipping costs if the item needs to be sent back.

Non-returnable situations

  • Items returned after the 30-day window
  • Items that have been used, displayed, or installed
  • Items damaged after delivery (e.g., broken during hanging)
  • Items returned without prior authorisation
